Practitioners

We have carried out a full risk assessment to identify new protocols ensuring adherence to Government guidelines and the safety of our clients even as National measures are relaxed. With the help of our professional regulatory bodies, our protocols can be implemented on a daily basis to manage the risk. These will be continuously reviewed and updated as necessary in response to Government and regulatory advice. N.B. The salon (venue) which is not owned or run by Northwest Massage Clinic, continues to operate with it’s own Covid-19 Risk assessment and cleaning protocols to manage the risk as well.

PPE

Practitioners continue to wear a Type II approved face mask in clinic to keep you safe. You are not obliged to wear a mask but you are welcome to do so, Type II face masks continue to be available in clinic, should you forget to bring your own.

Please make your therapist aware if you are hard of hearing and would prefer your therapist not to wear a mask.

Appointment Spacing & Cleaning

Appointments will continue to be spaced to allow time between clients for sufficient cleaning of the room and equipment, for ventilation and to reduce the number of people in the building at any time and throughout the day.

Towel management

The clinic is providing laundered towels and couch covering for comfort and dignity. These are changed for each client. The rooms are disinfected, ventilated and cleaned between clients. Couch roll is single-use only, and disposed of after each client.

Testing Positive for Covid-19

Should you test positive for Covid-19, please contact us to reschedule your upcoming appointment, we can re-arrange it for a safe time in the future. If you have already paid for your appointment you will be offered the option of rescheduling or having your appointment refunded. Paperless Notes

We have worked hard to digitise as much of the process in our clinic as possible in the past year to reduce potential cross-contamination. We are now working with paper-free note taking; your forms, reminders, booking confirmations will all be sent to your valid email address and phone number before attending the clinic, you will no longer be required to fill out a paper-form.

Contactless Payments

Payments are preferably taken online or contactless in clinic to reduce cross-contamination but we are accepting cash if need be.
