What makes it worse?

If you know what aggravates your condition, you’re half way to managing it

When an injury or short-term condition is not getting better despite all your hard work, or you’re having a good day so you go all out but then ‘pay for it’ afterwards with pain or fatigue, what’s going on?

What makes it worse and have you stopped?

If what seemed like a simple condition isn’t improving, sometimes it really is just that you’re still doing tasks with perpetuate the injury. Am I expecting change without making changes?

Common aggravators/hurdles to recovery:

  • Sitting

  • Walking

  • Driving

  • Hoovering/ Cleaning

  • Computer

  • Gym exercises

  • Work

Sometimes it really is the path of least resistance. If you can temporarily stop or amend the aggravating task, this could be the final puzzle piece to allow an injury to heal. Then you can go back to it in due course.
